In Thursday's league challenge, the host Atchison Phoenix volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Wyandotte Bulldogs.

The Phoenix (10-15) will now prepare for their challenge against Pleasant Ridge (Easton, KS). The Rams come into the non-league challenge with a 11-13 record. In their last challenge, Pleasant Ridge Atchison County (Effingham, KS), 0-0, in a league test.

The Bulldogs now own a 3-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Washington for a Meadowlark test on Tuesday, October 14. Wyandotte will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Paola (Paola, KS). The Wildcats record now stands at 7-15.
