In Tuesday's league challenge, the host Atchison Phoenix volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Wyandotte Bulldogs.

The Phoenix (3-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Riverside [Wathena/Elwood] (Wathena, KS). The Cyclones come into the non-league challenge with a 4-8 record. In their last challenge, Riverside [Wathena/Elwood] beat Maur Hill Prep-Mount Academy (Atchison, KS), 2-1, in a league test.

The Bulldogs now sport a 0-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sumner Academy for a Meadowlark test on Thursday, September 18. Wyandotte will face a Sabres squad coming off a 3-1 league loss to Harmon (Kansas City, KS). The Sabres record now stands at 2-5.
