Fans at Thursday's league contest between the Rio Grande Ravens (Albuquerque, NM) and the host Atrisco Heritage Academy Jaguars (Albuquerque, NM), observed Rio Grande's volleyball team top Atrisco Heritage Academy by a tally of 3-0.

The Ravens (8-9) will now prepare for their contest against Los Lunas (Los Lunas, NM). The Tigers enter the 5A District 5 contest with a 9-6 record. In their last contest, Los Lunas achieved victory over Atrisco Heritage Academy (Albuquerque, NM), 3-0, in a league test.

The Jaguars now own a 5-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Mesa for a 5A District 5 test on Tuesday, October 14. Atrisco Heritage Academy will encounter a Mustangs squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Albuquerque (Albuquerque, NM). The Mustangs record now stands at 3-11.
