In Thursday's league challenge, the host Patrick Henry Patriots volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Cave Spring Knights.

The Patriots (10-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Lord Botetourt (Daleville, VA). The Cavaliers come into the non-league challenge with a 9-7 record. In their last challenge, Lord Botetourt beat Franklin County (Rocky Mount, VA), 3-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Knights meet the Christiansburg Blue Demons (Christiansburg, VA) in a River Ridge challenge, on Tuesday, October 14. Cave Spring will attempt to upgrade on its 9-11 season record. The Blue Demons come into the challenge with a 17-0 record after their 3-0 league win over Patrick Henry (Roanoke, VA).
