Patrick Henry Patriots (Roanoke, VA) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their volleyball team hold off the host Cave Spring Knights (Roanoke, VA), 3-2 in a league challenge.

The Patriots (4-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Fleming (Roanoke, VA). The Colonels enter the non-league challenge with a 0-7 record. In their last challenge, Fleming was tipped by Pulaski County (Dublin, VA), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Knights face the Christiansburg Blue Demons (Christiansburg, VA) in a River Ridge test, on Thursday, September 18. Cave Spring will attempt to improve on its 6-6 season record. The Blue Demons go into the test with a 6-0 record after their 3-0 non-league win over William Byrd (Vinton, VA).
