California High School Volleyball - Laguna Creek tips Elk Grove

The Laguna Creek Cardinals volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host Elk Grove Thundering Herd to 2 in the Cardinals league triumph on Thursday.

The Cardinals now have a 11-9 record. They play next when they host Monterey Trail for a Delta League outing on Tuesday, October 14. Laguna Creek will confront a Mustangs squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to West Campus (Sacramento, CA). The Mustangs record now stands at 10-9.

The Thundering Herd (4-7) will now prepare for their game against Yerba Buena (San Jose, CA). The Aztec Warriors go into the non-league game with a 8-11 record. In their last game, Yerba Buena was edged by Willow Glen (San Jose, CA), 3-0, in a league game.
