Massachusetts High School Volleyball - Newburyport over Pentucket Regional

In Thursday's league challenge, the visiting Newburyport Clippers volleyball squad scored a 3-1 win over the Pentucket Regional .

With the win, Newburyport improves its record to 13-3 on the season. The Clippers travel to Melrose (Melrose, MA) to face the Red Raiders in a non-league test on Friday, October 10. The Red Raiders go into the test with a record of 10-3. Melrose won 3-1 in their recent league test against Arlington (Arlington, MA)

The now own a 7-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host North Reading for a Cape Ann test on Tuesday, October 14. Pentucket Regional will face a Hornets squad coming off a 3-2 league win over Essex Tech (Hathorne, MA). The Hornets record now stands at 12-1.
