The Long County Blue Tide flag football squad scored 39 points and limited the visiting First Preparatory Christian Academy Highlanders to 0 in the Blue Tide non-league win on Monday.

In their next game, the Blue Tide face the Islands Sharks (Savannah, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, November 12. Long County will attempt to improve on its 10-1 season record. The Sharks go into the challenge with a 5-9 record after their 13-12 non-league loss to Savannah Arts Academy (Savannah, GA).

The Highlanders (2-9) will now prepare for their test against Claxton (Claxton, GA). The Tigers come into the non-league test with a 5-9 record. In their last test, Claxton was overwhelmed by Washington County (Sandersville, GA), 33-6, in a league test.
