Indiana High School Basketball - Lake Central nips Penn

November 12, 2022: Mishawaka, IN 46545

Lake Central Indians (St. John, IN) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Penn Kingsmen (Mishawaka, IN), 43-37 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Lake Central upgrades its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Hammond Bishop Noll (Hammond, IN) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Friday, November 18. The Warriors come into the bout with a record of 0-2. Hammond Bishop Noll lost 54-30 in their recent non-league bout against Valparaiso (Valparaiso, IN)

Next up, the Kingsmen play the Glenn Falcons (Walkerton, IN) in a Northern Indiana bout, on Tuesday, November 15. Penn will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record. The Falcons come into the bout with a 1-2 record after their 51-44 non-league loss to Mishawaka (Mishawaka, IN).
