In Friday's non-league contest, the host New Caney Eagles basketball team scored a big 67-44 triumph over the Aldine Mustangs.

With the victory, New Caney upgrades its record to 2-2 on the season. The Eagles host Cypress Creek (Houston, TX) to clash with the Cougars in a non-league outing on Tuesday, November 18. The Cougars come into the outing with a record of 6-1. Cypress Creek won 52-39 in their recent non-league outing against Fort Bend Travis (Richmond, TX)
