The Columbia Christian Crusaders basketball team scored 41 points and held the visiting Emerson Pirates to 39 in the Crusaders non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Crusaders now sport a 9-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Valley Christian for a Arkansas Christian contest on Friday, November 17. Columbia Christian will meet a River Hawks team coming off a 71-56 league loss to Christian Ministries Academy (Hot Springs, AR). The River Hawks record now stands at 0-2.

The Pirates (3-3) will now prepare for their contest against Nevada (Rosston, AR). The Blue Jays enter the 1A Region 8 contest with a 6-2 record.
