The Gospel Light Christian Lions basketball team scored 58 points and restricted the host Abundant Life Owls to 29 in the Lions league victory on Thursday.

The Lions now sport a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Christian Ministries Academy for a Heartland Christian contest on Monday, November 20. Gospel Light Christian will battle a Conquerors team coming off a 59-31 non-league win over New Life Christian Academy (Little Rock, AR). The Conquerors record now stands at 4-2.

The Owls (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Mount Ida (Mount Ida, AR). The Lions come into the non-league contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, Mount Ida was routed by Acorn (Mena, AR), 51-25, in a non-league contest.
