Georgia High School Basketball - Darlington holds off Model

Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Darlington Tigers (Rome, GA) and the host Model Blue Devils (Rome, GA), saw Darlington's basketball squad hold off Model by a tally of 40-33.

With the victory, Darlington improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Stone Mountain (Stone Mountain, GA) to confront the Pirates in a non-league challenge on Monday, November 21. The Pirates come into the challenge with a record of 2-0. Stone Mountain won 57-42 in their recent non-league challenge against M.L. King (Lithonia, GA)

Next up, the Blue Devils confront the Chattooga Indians (Summerville, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, November 29. Model will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record.
