The Shepard Astros basketball team scored 48 points and restricted the host Richards Bulldogs to 34 in the Astros non-league victory on Thursday.
The Astros now sport a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Stagg for a non-league contest on Monday, November 28. Shepard will battle a Chargers team coming off a 56-48 non-league loss to Hinsdale South (Darien, IL). The Chargers record now stands at 0-3.
The Bulldogs (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Thornton Fractional South (Lansing, IL). The Red Wolves come into the non-league contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Thornton Fractional South prevailed over Payton College Prep (Chicago, IL), 75-44, in a non-league contest.
