Highlands Highlanders (Highlands, NC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Rosman Tigers (Rosman, NC), 57-41 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Highlands upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Highlanders host Towns County (Hiawassee, GA) to play the Indians in a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 21. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 3-0. Towns County won 51-27 in their recent league bout against Taliaferro County (Crawfordville, GA)

Next up, the Tigers play the Brevard Blue Devils (Brevard, NC) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, November 21. Rosman will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
