Hackberry Mustangs (Hackberry, LA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Pine Prairie Panthers (Pine Prairie, LA), 69-3 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Hackberry upgrades its record to 3-1 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Singer (Singer, LA) to play the Hornets in a C District 4 bout on Tuesday, November 21. The Hornets go into the bout with a record of 0-3. Singer lost 46-33 in their recent non-league bout against Pleasant Hill (Pleasant Hill, LA)

Next up, the Panthers play the Westminster Christian Academy (Lafayette, LA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, November 27. Pine Prairie will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The go into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 29-3 non-league loss to Ascension Episcopal (Lafayette, LA).
