Illinois High School Basketball - Stevenson thwarts New Trier

The Stevenson Patriots (Lincolnshire, IL) basketball knocked off the visiting New Trier Trevians (Winnetka, IL), 42-31 in Friday's non-league test.
The Patriots (2-0) will now prepare for their test against Loyola Academy (Wilmette, IL). The Ramblers go into the non-league test with a 2-0 record. In their last test, Loyola Academy notched a victory over Warren Township (Gurnee, IL), 58-37, in a non-league test.
The Trevians now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Fenwick for a non-league test on Saturday, November 18. New Trier will encounter a Friars squad coming off a 53-42 non-league loss to Phillips (Chicago, IL). The Friars record now stands at 0-2.
