The Stevenson Patriots (Lincolnshire, IL) basketball felled the visiting New Trier Trevians (Winnetka, IL), 46-37 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Patriots (12-1) will now prepare for their test against Maine South (Park Ridge, IL). The Hawks go into the non-league test with a 17-0 record. In their last test, Maine South thwarted Barrington (Barrington, IL), 66-34, in a non-league test.
The Trevians now own a 9-7 record. They play next when they host Barrington for a non-league test on Friday, December 29. New Trier will encounter a Fillies/Broncos squad coming off a 66-34 non-league loss to Maine South (Park Ridge, IL). The Fillies/Broncos record now stands at 10-6.
