The Hewitt-Trussville Huskies basketball team scored 51 points and restricted the host Mortimer Jordan Blue Devils to 42 in the Huskies non-league victory on Thursday.
The Huskies now sport a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Dothan for a non-league contest on Saturday, November 20. Hewitt-Trussville will battle a Wolves team coming off a 63-35 non-league loss to Huffman (Birmingham, AL). The Wolves record now stands at 0-2.
The Blue Devils (3-2) will now prepare for their contest against Good Hope (Cullman, AL). The Raiders come into the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Good Hope prevailed over Susan Moore (Blountsville, AL), 62-41, in a non-league contest.
