Alabama High School Basketball - Hewitt-Trussville fells Mortimer Jordan

Hewitt-Trussville Huskies (Trussville, AL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Mortimer Jordan Blue Devils (Kimberly, AL), 51-38 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Hewitt-Trussville upgrades its record to 23-5 on the season. The Huskies host Gadsden City (Gadsden, AL) to play the Titans in a 7A Area 6 bout on Tuesday, February 8. The Titans go into the bout with a record of 13-15. Gadsden City lost 63-41 in their recent non-league bout against Oxford (Oxford, AL)
Next up, the Blue Devils play the Gardendale Rockets (Gardendale, AL) in a 6A Area 12 bout, on Monday, February 7. Mortimer Jordan will attempt to upgrade on its 23-5 season record.
