Midland Bulldogs (Midland, TX) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Lubbock Westerners (Lubbock, TX), 81-49 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Midland upgrades its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Monterey (Lubbock, TX) to play the Plainsmen in a non-league bout on Monday, November 21. The Plainsmen come into the bout with a record of 1-1. Monterey won 73-61 in their recent non-league bout against Estacado (Lubbock, TX)

Next up, the Westerners play the Levelland Lobos (Levelland, TX) in a non-league bout, on Monday, November 21. Lubbock will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Lobos come into the bout with a 2-0 record after their 54-26 non-league win over Slaton (Slaton, TX).
