The Uwharrie Charter Eagles (Asheboro, NC) basketball nipped the visiting Chatham Charter Knights (Siler City, NC), 33-31 in Friday's non-league test.
The Eagles (1-0) will now prepare for their test against Bethany (Summerfield, NC). The Wolves go into the non-league test with a 0-2 record. In their last test, Bethany was tipped by Piedmont Classical (Browns Summit, NC), 83-16, in a non-league test.
The Knights now own a 1-4 record. They play next when they host Voyager for a non-league test on Tuesday, November 22. Chatham Charter will encounter a Vikings squad coming off a 68-39 non-league win over Franklin Academy (Wake Forest, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 3-0.
