The Chatham Charter Knights (Siler City, NC) basketball nipped the visiting Uwharrie Charter Eagles (Asheboro, NC), 40-33 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Knights (2-5) will now prepare for their test against Franklin Academy (Wake Forest, NC). The Patriots go into the non-league test with a 2-4 record.
The Eagles now own a 1-4 record. They play next when they travel to Providence Grove for a non-league test on Friday, December 9. Uwharrie Charter will encounter a Patriots squad coming off a 69-21 non-league loss to Williams (Burlington, NC). The Patriots record now stands at 4-1.
