The International Panthers basketball team scored 62 points and limited the visiting First Baptist Christian Eagles to 39 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Monday.

The Panthers now have a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Bogalusa for a non-league game on Wednesday, November 20. International will confront a Lumberjacks team coming off a 74-34 non-league loss to Covington (Covington, LA). The Lumberjacks record now stands at 0-1.

With the loss, First Baptist Christian falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Phoenix (Braithwaite, LA) to confront the Spartans in a C District 8 game on Tuesday, January 14. The Spartans go into the game with a record of 5-3.
