In Thursday's non-league contest, the host International Panthers basketball team scored a good 57-39 triumph over the First Baptist Christian Eagles.
The Panthers (2-4) will now prepare for their contest against King Charter (New Orleans, LA). The Jaguar go into the 2A District 10 contest with a 3-3 record. In their last contest, King Charter topped Livingston Collegiate Academy (New Orleans, LA), 68-30, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Eagles confront the Phoenix Spartans (Braithwaite, LA) in a C District 8 contest, on Tuesday, January 14. First Baptist Christian will attempt to better on its 0-5 season record.
