The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Triangle Math & Science Tigers (Apex, NC) and the visiting Ascend Leadership Aviators (Sanford, NC), observed Triangle Math & Science's basketball team knock off Ascend Leadership by a score of 45-35.
The Tigers (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Excelsior Classical Academy (Durham, NC). The Flying Lions come into the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Excelsior Classical Academy prevailed over The Hawbridge School (Graham, NC), 78-40, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Aviators encounter the Haw River Christian Academy Archers (Pittsboro, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, November 21. Ascend Leadership will attempt to improve on its 1-4 season record. The Archers come into the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 44-38 non-league loss to Grace Christian Academy (Haw River, NC).
