Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Memphis East Mustangs (Memphis, TN) and the host Houston Mustangs (Germantown, TN), saw Memphis East's basketball squad hold off Houston by a count of 67-60.

With the victory, Memphis East upgrades its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Tupelo (Tupelo, MS) to play the Golden Wave in a non-league challenge on Monday, November 21. The Golden Wave come into the challenge with a record of 4-0.

Next up, the Mustangs play the Raymond Rangers (Raymond, MS) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, November 22. Houston will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
