Clinton Dragons (Clinton, TN) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Powell Panthers (Powell, TN), 53-43 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Clinton upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Dragons travel to Gatlinburg-Pittman (Gatlinburg, TN) to clash with the Highlanders in a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 22. The Highlanders go into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Panthers clash with the Anderson County Mavericks (Clinton, TN) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, November 22. Powell will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
