Fieldcrest Knights (Minonk, IL) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Seneca Fighting Irish (Seneca, IL), 65-42 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Fieldcrest upgrades its record to 4-0 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Pontiac (Pontiac, IL) to play the Indians in a non-league bout on Monday, November 21. The Indians come into the bout with a record of 2-2. Pontiac won 64-59 in their recent non-league bout against Prairie Central (Fairbury, IL)

Next up, the Fighting Irish play the Midland Timberwolves (Varna, IL) in a Tri-County bout, on Monday, November 21. Seneca will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Timberwolves come into the bout with a 0-2 record after their 32-31 non-league loss to Streator (Streator, IL).
