The Fieldcrest Knights basketball squad scored 59 points and limited the host Seneca Fighting Irish to 43 in the Knights non-league win on Wednesday.
The Knights (14-0) will now prepare for their outing against Putnam County (Granville, IL). The Panthers go into the non-league outing with a 11-6 record. In their last outing, Putnam County thwarted St. Bede (Peru, IL), 38-25, in a non-league outing.
The Fighting Irish now own a 10-5 record. They play next when they host Dwight for a Tri-County battle on Wednesday, January 4. Seneca will battle a Trojans team coming off a 44-40 non-league loss to Wilmington (Wilmington, IL). The Trojans record now stands at 3-7.
