North Carolina High School Basketball - South Johnston trounced by Cleveland

November 19, 2024: Clayton, NC 27520

The South Johnston Trojans basketball squad (Four Oaks, NC), was crushed 78-52 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Cleveland Rams (Clayton, NC)

With the victory, Cleveland advances its record to 1-0 on the year. The Rams host Knightdale (Knightdale, NC) to meet the Knights in a non-league battle on Thursday, November 21. The Knights enter the battle with a record of 0-2. Knightdale lost 52-43 in their recent non-league battle against Sanderson (Raleigh, NC)

The Trojans now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Union Pines for a non-league battle on Friday, November 22. South Johnston will meet a Vikings squad coming off a 83-43 non-league win over Montgomery Central (Troy, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 2-0.
