The South Johnston Trojans basketball squad (Four Oaks, NC), was outscored 64-48 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Cleveland Rams (Clayton, NC)

With the victory, Cleveland advances its record to 10-1 on the year. The Rams travel to Corinth Holders (Wendell, NC) to meet the Pirates in a 4A Greater Neuse River battle on Friday, January 3. The Pirates enter the battle with a record of 2-10. Corinth Holders won 69-24 in their recent non-league battle against Henderson Collegiate (Henderson, NC)

The Trojans now own a 6-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to C.B. Aycock for a 3A Quad County battle on Tuesday, January 7.
