In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Jemison Panthers basketball team scored a close 44-38 win over the Elmore County Panthers.
The Panthers (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Thorsby (Thorsby, AL). The Rebels come into the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Thorsby was tipped by Westminster School at Oak Mountain (Birmingham, AL), 50-37, in a non-league contest.
