The Rector Cougars basketball team scored 67 points and limited the host Piggott Mohawks to 43 in the Cougars league triumph on Tuesday.

The Cougars now have a 2-1 record. They play next when they host Armorel for a non-league game on Thursday, November 21. Rector will confront a Tigers team coming off a 60-21 league win over KIPP Blytheville (Blytheville, AR). The Tigers record now stands at 1-5.

With the loss, Piggott falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Mohawks travel to Corning (Corning, AR) to confront the Bobcats in a 2A Region 3 game on Friday, November 22. The Bobcats go into the game with a record of 1-3. Corning lost 79-75 in their recent league game against East Poinsett County (Lepanto, AR)
