North Carolina High School Basketball - Howard can't hold off Wayne Preparatory Academy

November 20, 2023: Goldsboro, NC 27530

The Wayne Preparatory Academy Generals basketball team scored 70 points and held the visiting Howard Eagles to 66 in the Generals league triumph on Monday.

The Generals now sport a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Greater Destiny Prep Academy for a non-league contest on Wednesday, November 22. Wayne Preparatory Academy will battle a Warriors team coming off a 64-30 league win over Wake County Academy HomeSchool (Raleigh, NC). The Warriors record now stands at 2-1.

The Eagles (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against North East Carolina Prep (Tarboro, NC). The enter the non-league contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, North East Carolina Prep nudged Hobgood Charter (Hobgood, NC), 53-49, in a non-league contest.

The Wayne Preparatory Academy (Goldsboro, NC) varsity basketball team won Monday's home conference game against Sallie B. Howard (Wilson, NC) by a score of 70-66.
