    • Georgia High School Basketball - John Hancock Academy overwhelmed by St. George's

    November 20, 2025: Milner, GA

    In Thursday's non-league test, the St. George's Athletes (Milner, GA) basketball squad trounced the visiting John Hancock Academy Rebels (Sparta, GA), by a tally of 70-13.

    The Athletes now possess a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Twiggs Academy for a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 2. St. George's will play a Trojans team coming off a 99-44 non-league loss to Milledgeville Athletic Club (Milledgeville, GA). The Trojans record now stands at 0-3.

    With the loss, John Hancock Academy falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Rebels host Alleluia Community (Augusta, GA) to play the Angels in a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 25. The Angels go into the bout with a record of 0-2. Alleluia Community lost 56-46 in their recent non-league bout against Augusta Christian (Martinez, GA)
