St. George's Athletes (Milner, GA) backers went home thrilled Friday as they saw their basketball team smash the host John Hancock Academy Rebels (Sparta, GA), 63-30 in a non-league contest.

The Athletes (5-4) will now prepare for their contest against Piedmont Academy (Monticello, GA). The Cougars go into the non-league contest with a 4-3 record. In their last contest, Piedmont Academy smashed Windsor Academy (Macon, GA), 70-46, in a non-league contest.

Next up, the Rebels face the Victory Christian Eagles (Conyers, GA) in a non-league match, on Monday, December 15. John Hancock Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 1-9 season record.
