North Carolina High School Basketball - Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy sneaks past Pinnacle Classical Academy

The Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy Gryphons basketball squad scored 49 points and restricted the host Pinnacle Classical Academy Eagles to 46 in the Gryphons non-league win on Friday.

Next, the Gryphons clash with the Piedmont Community Charter Patriots (Gastonia, NC) in a Catawba River 1A/2A/3A test, on Tuesday, December 2. Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Patriots come into the test with a 5-1 record after their 74-67 non-league win over Lake Norman Charter (Huntersville, NC).

The Eagles (1-3) will now prepare for their test against Community Christian Academy (Bessemer City, NC). The Warriors come into the Western Piedmont test with a 4-1 record. In their last test, Community Christian Academy held off Nebo Crossing Academy (Nebo, NC), 55-53, in a league test.
