The South Iron Panthers basketball team scored 55 points and held the visiting Fredericktown Black Cats to 31 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Panthers now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host West County for a non-league contest on Thursday, November 23. South Iron will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 70-46 non-league win over Bismarck (Bismarck, MO). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-0.

The Black Cats (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Kingston (Cadet, MO). The Cougars enter the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Kingston triumphed over Perryville (Perryville, MO), 69-27, in a non-league contest.
