West Washington Senators (Campbellsburg, IN) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Salem Lions (Salem, IN), 49-37 in a non-league bout.

With the win, West Washington upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Senators travel to Paoli (Paoli, IN) to play the Rams in a Patoka Lake bout on Friday, December 8. The Rams go into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Lions play the Brownstown Central Braves (Brownstown, IN) in a Mid-Southern bout, on Tuesday, November 28. Salem will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Braves go into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 68-55 non-league win over Providence (Clarksville, IN).
