Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Skidmore-Tynan Bobcats (Skidmore, TX) and the host San Diego Vaqueros (San Diego, TX), saw Skidmore-Tynan's basketball squad hold off San Diego by a tally of 45-44.
With the victory, Skidmore-Tynan improves its record to 6-3 on the campaign. The Bobcats travel to Nixon-Smiley (Nixon, TX) to confront the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, November 28. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 2-8. Nixon-Smiley lost 57-43 in their recent non-league challenge against Blanco (Blanco, TX)
Next up, the Vaqueros confront the George West Longhorns (George West, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 12. San Diego will attempt to improve on its 4-3 season record.
