North Carolina High School Basketball - North Iredell can't hold off South Iredell

South Iredell Vikings (Statesville, NC) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting North Iredell Raiders (Olin, NC), 70-63 in a non-league match.

With the victory, South Iredell advances its record to 1-1 on the year. The Vikings host North Lincoln (Lincolnton, NC) to face the Knights in a non-league match on Tuesday, November 26. The Knights enter the match with a record of 0-1. North Lincoln lost 69-28 in their recent non-league match against Lake Norman (Mooresville, NC)

The Raiders now own a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Davie for a non-league match on Tuesday, November 26. North Iredell will face a War Eagles squad coming off a 53-47 non-league win over Alexander Central (Taylorsville, NC). The War Eagles record now stands at 1-0.
