Illinois High School Basketball - Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley tipped by Lexington

The Lexington Minutemen basketball team scored 62 points and held the host Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley Falcons to 55 in the Minutemen non-league triumph on Friday.

The Minutemen now sport a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Prairie Central for a non-league contest on Saturday, November 25. Lexington will meet a Hawks team coming off a 69-32 non-league win over Fisher (Fisher, IL). The Hawks record now stands at 3-0.

The Falcons (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Hoopeston (Hoopeston, IL). The Cornjerkers enter the non-league contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Hoopeston nudged Armstrong (Armstrong, IL), 52-45, in a non-league contest.
