The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Atkinson County Rebels (Pearson, GA) and the host Brantley County Herons (Nahunta, GA), observed Atkinson County's basketball team knock off Brantley County by a score of 55-41.
The Rebels (3-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Telfair County (McRae, GA). The Trojans come into the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record.
In their next game, the Herons encounter the Appling County Pirates (Baxley, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 2. Brantley County will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Pirates come into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 67-66 non-league win over Telfair County (McRae, GA).
