In Tuesday's non-league test, the Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy Gryphons (Mooresboro, NC) basketball squad trounced the visiting Lake Lure Classical Academy Raptors (Lake Lure, NC), by a final score of 77-50.
Next, the Gryphons clash with the Bethel Christian Academy Crusaders (Spruce Pine, NC) in a non-league test, on Thursday, December 5. Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 3-0 season record.
The Raptors (4-2) will now prepare for their test against The Master's Academy (Forest City, NC). The Lions come into the Western Piedmont test with a 0-2 record. In their last test, The Master's Academy was overwhelmed by Lake Lure Classical Academy (Lake Lure, NC), 74-42, in a league test.
