Next, the Mustangs clash with the Roma Gladiators (Roma, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 30 test, on Saturday, November 30. Nixon will attempt to improve on its 7-6 season record. The Gladiators come into the test with a 8-8 record after their 34-23 league loss to Mission Veterans Memorial (Mission, TX).

The Eagles (4-8) will now prepare for their test against Martin (Laredo, TX). The Tigers come into the 5A Region IV District 30 test with a 10-5 record. In their last test, Martin overcame Mission Veterans Memorial (Mission, TX), 55-26, in a league test.
