In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting North Gaston Wildcats basketball team scored a good 48-29 triumph over the Bessemer City Yellow Jackets.

The Wildcats (4-0) will now prepare for their contest against Cherryville (Cherryville, NC). The Ironmen go into the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Cherryville topped Piedmont Community Charter (Gastonia, NC), 64-51, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Yellow Jackets battle the Forestview Jaguars (Gastonia, NC) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, December 3. Bessemer City will attempt to better on its 0-4 season record. The Jaguars go into the contest with a 3-0 record after their 74-25 non-league win over East Gaston (Mt. Holly, NC).
