Section Lions (Section, AL) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host North Jackson Chiefs (Stevenson, AL), 67-64 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Section upgrades its record to 4-3 on the season. The Lions host Geraldine (Geraldine, AL) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 28. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 2-1. Geraldine lost 63-52 in their recent non-league bout against Douglas (Douglas, AL)

Next up, the Chiefs play the North Sand Mountain Bison (Higdon, AL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, November 28. North Jackson will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Bison go into the bout with a 1-5 record after their 79-33 non-league win over St. Andrews-Sewanee (Sewanee, TN).
