In Wednesday's non-league contest, the host Blaine Bengals basketball team scored a big 71-49 triumph over the Champlin Park Rebels.
The Bengals (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Cambridge-Isanti (Cambridge, MN). The Bluejackets go into the AAAA Section 7 contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Cambridge-Isanti smashed Duluth East (Duluth, MN), 68-51, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Rebels battle the Eden Prairie Eagles (Eden Prairie, MN) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, December 3. Champlin Park will attempt to better on its 0-3 season record. The Eagles go into the contest with a 2-3 record after their 72-55 non-league win over Eagan (Eagan, MN).
