Kentucky High School Basketball - Hancock County knocked off by Apollo

The Apollo Eagles basketball team scored 60 points and held the visiting Hancock County Hornets to 49 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Eagles now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Union County for a non-league contest on Friday, December 1. Apollo will meet a Braves team coming off a 71-35 non-league win over Heritage Christian Academy (Hopkinsville, KY). The Braves record now stands at 1-0.
The Hornets (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Brown (Louisville, KY). The Bears enter the non-league contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, Brown was outscored by Southern (Louisville, KY), 74-50, in a non-league contest.
